I invited Julian for a chat over lunch to talk about Stockholm, Branding, Clouds and how it really is being an Englishman in Stockholm! Both from each side of The River Mersey in the northwest of England we actually met at Julian’s world’s first international cloud-based agency, UP THERE, EVERYWHERE´S creative space in the central of Stockholm before he flew off to Amsterdam to hold a speech. I had never met Julian before, but I had a positive understanding of him. By reading his books and following his success I knew we share similar outlooks on life. Especially on lifestyles – the way you live and work. He is very successful in what he does and is an inspiration for many. He comes across as a big thinker and is always on the go. Julian Stubbs is the man & mind behind the successful Branding of Stockholm Campaign: Stockholm, The Capital of Scandinavia. (Not if you ask the Norwegians, Danes and Finns). In March 2012 Julian released the second edition of WISH YOU WERE HERE – THE BRANDING OF STOCKHOLM & DESTINATIONS. You can read my review of the book on EkenMagazine.com here. In March 2014 Julian released his first edition of e-ployment, a book about living & working in the clouds. This man seems always to be on his way UP! A confident pioneer successfully working & creating the future in the clouds, Brand Strategist Julian Stubbs is a gentleman that values his family, challenges and his engaging lifestyle highly. Meeting with similar exiting people with the same outlook of life always make you happy, but to be able to sit down and to enjoy a good chat is priceless. Like so many other human encounters and life experiences – You have to do it to experience it! This guy is not easy to catch, a bit like Mr Frank W. Abagnale who is portrayed by Leonardo Di Caprio featuring Tom Hanks in the film: Catch Me If You Can.
