FESTIVAL
STOCKHOLM LOVE AFFAIR | ANNEXET
1-2/4

There is no more fitting way to appreciate the breaking of the spring season in Stockholm than with the city’s new Stockholm Love Affair festival. Gathering sixteen of the world’s best and brightest electronic artists over the space of two days, the event is likely to combine the greatest characteristics of the festival and nightclub scene in spectacular fashion. Stretching from the early evening well into the unthinkable hours of the morning, Stockholm Love Affair is set to well and truly blow the roof off Globens Annex with a succession of electrifying and galvanising anthems over the course of two remarkable evenings.

MOVIE
EDDIE THE EAGLE | SF BIO

1/4

For any Brit or fan of ski jumping, this movie is certain to catapult you into the past and back to the days of bad hairstyles, colourful outfits and the moment Britain had their first competitive ski jumper. Based upon the never say die attitude of unlikely British sporting hero “Eddie the Eagle” (Taron Egerton) and his eccentric coach (Hugh Jackman) the two fight their way to the winter Olympics in Calgary, but not without a series of unfortunate events and unconvinced officials. The movie expertly depicts the life of one of Britain’s sporting heroes and his unlikely rise to stardom in the face of impending failure.

HAVE FUN AT THE RACES
OLYMPIC TROTTING AT SOLVALLA

Looking for something different, exciting and definitely a spectacle that will be talked about for many days after, then the first leg of the Olympic trott is on at Solvalla. In the light of the springtime sun the V-75 finals are sure to get audiences paces racing faster than the horses hooves thundering around the sandy track. Experts from the field of trotting will be on hand to share their in-depth views, whilst the restaurants offers the chance to book a table and chow down on fine dining foods before the races get underway. Horses, food, drinks and a chance to have a couple of bets with your friends, the first leg of trotting is surely a different, yet highly interesting idea for you to get down to this weekend.
